Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Froggaloo website and the features available on it, including newsletter sign-ups, the Froggaloo Family early-access list, and (as they are introduced) membership and shop functionality.

Froggaloo is designed primarily for children and the families who care for them. Because of this, we treat privacy, safety and transparency as core parts of how Froggaloo is built, not something added at the end. Information relating specifically to children is addressed separately in our Children’s Privacy Notice.

Where Froggaloo asks for information today — for example, an email address to receive the 7 Free Bedtime Stories or to join the Froggaloo Family early-access list — that information is intended to be provided by a parent or guardian, not a child.

As functionality expands, this may also include:

• Contact details used to create or manage a membership account
• Billing information needed to process a purchase (handled by a payment provider, not stored by Froggaloo directly)
• Information a parent chooses to provide for a child-specific personalization, such as a birthday greeting

Like most websites, Froggaloo may collect limited technical information automatically when the site is visited — for example general device and browser information, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies. Details on this are set out in our Cookie Policy. We intend to keep this to what is genuinely needed to operate and improve the site, rather than collecting data for its own sake.

Where information is collected, we intend to use it only to:

• Provide the content or feature requested (for example, delivering bedtime stories by email, or a membership a parent has joined)
• Operate, maintain and improve the Froggaloo website
• Communicate with the parent or guardian about their account, membership or order
• Send optional newsletters or updates a parent or guardian has chosen to receive
• Meet legal, safety and security obligations

We do not use information to build advertising profiles of children, and we do not intend to sell personal information.

We do not plan to share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information may need to be shared with a limited number of service providers who help us operate the website — for example, a hosting provider, an email delivery service, or a payment processor once purchases are available.

We intend to keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. Specific retention periods for each type of information will be published here once they have been defined and reviewed.

Parents and guardians can generally expect to be able to ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about their family, and to unsubscribe from optional communications at any time (for example, using an unsubscribe link in an email). Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply. A dedicated contact method for these requests will be published here as it is finalized.

We intend to use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information in our care. No method of storing or transmitting information online can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we will not make absolute guarantees about security.

As Froggaloo’s membership, shop and account features are built and reviewed, this policy will be updated. We will update the date on this page when changes are made.
